It has worked great with the oil mix I bought (a little runny). I didn’t need to put much in for it to work. I checked throughout to ensure it was still putting out oil on my skin and it was. I can feel at the edges of my scalp how evenly the oil was spread out. My curly (3 b/c) hair was not fully combed and I was still about to easily reach all of my scalp. Truly not a drop of oil wasted! I was worried my roots would get too greasy, it won’t be an issue. The rollers did not tug on my hair, it didn’t catch the hair in the rollers and pull it out, and as long as I was careful it didn’t create a back combing effect. I’m sure if all my knots were worked though it would be even less of an issue. It felt very nice on my scalp, and although a bit smaller than expected it was comfortable to hold. I think this is going to be a great long term tool for my hair health.

I have thinning hair due to a long recovery from an illness called Telogen Effluvium. I use a really excellent (but expensive) line-up of hair and scalp oils and treatments that I love and has really helped me keep what I can save and minimize what I am losing and it’s excellent. But I have to apply it every day and it’s expensive and I wind up wasting product. This seemed like an easy solution to save money on my scalp treatments and an easier way to apply it to my hair (my fingernails are also destroyed and finally growing back in)After diligently reading the reviews, I purchased this “adorable” liquid comb in true gold. It arrived today after my nephrology appointment and I was very excited to give it a try. I made sure I followed the instructions, I double checked everything… and after showering the doctor’s office off, I began to apply my scalp serum with this tiny ball of hell.It glided beautifully over my (medically gloved) hand and I excitedly went to work on my hair. And then it jammed? Didn’t dispense correctly? The balls secreted my very expensive and treasured scalp serum, and rolled my hair up in with it.It basically scalped me.Do not buy this. It’s a scam. And a painful one.

I recently added the mriya Hair Oil Applicator Root Comb to my hair care routine to assist with the application of minoxidil. The design includes a handy reservoir which, to my delight, holds about a month’s supply. This feature alone has simplified my daily regimen, making the process more streamlined and convenient.Initially, I encountered a slight learning curve with dispensing the product. It doesn’t always release as easily as one might hope. However, I discovered a small, gentle back-and-forth motion with the comb activates the mini rollers—similar to using a fragrance rollerball—and allows for the minoxidil to apply more evenly. The direct application to the scalp is a game-changer. Not only does it ensure that the product is delivered right where it’s needed, but it also reduces waste, meaning I use less product overall. As an added bonus, the comb doubles as a scalp massager, which is a nice little perk for promoting hair growth and providing a moment of relaxation during my routine. For anyone looking to precisely apply scalp treatments without the mess, the mriya Hair Oil Applicator Root Comb is a practical investment. Just remember the small movements for best results, and you’ll find it to be a valuable tool in your hair growth journey.

This product helps evenly distribute hair growth oil onto my hair. My baby hairs (from massive hair loss) are growing so fast now that it’s easier to put the oil on my scalp.

I just said it was convenient and easy to use.

You dont need another gadget. This is fine but you can apply any scalp oils from whatever dropper they come with.

Very convenient way to dispense liquid hair meds. Can hurt a little if you press really hard but otherwise great! 🙂

The Scalp Applicator Comb, Hair Oil Applicator has its merits. I appreciate that it holds a good amount of oil, ensuring I don’t have to refill frequently. However, the design leaves something to be desired.Pressing the top of the applicator to oil the top of the head is a bit challenging and uncomfortable. It seems to disperse only a small amount of oil, and personally, I’d prefer a bit more coverage. While it serves its purpose, the design quirks make it a bit less user-friendly than I had hoped. A three-star rating from me.

the top pops off too easily. it leaks.

Not user friendly. You must push down physically for the beads to withdrawl and let the oil out. You have to put substantial pressure down to allow this to happen and at the same time, drag it across your scalp. It felt sharp and hurt my head. Not the goal when you are trying to grow hair with rosemary oil. Would not recommend.
